Charities

Street Child is a UK charity, established in 2008, that aims to create educational opportunity for some of the poorest and most vulnerable children in West Africa. From building schools and training teachers, to connecting orphaned or abandoned children with families and giving parents in poverty business grants, they’re all about giving the world’s poorest children a chance – and they do this by helping over 50,000 children to go to school and enabling thousands of families to generate sustainable incomes so that their children can stay in education.

Here at Nine Group International, we believe that along with access to healthcare, giving every child a chance to get a public education is a fundamental human right, not a privilege – as a result, we started to support this valuable cause with monthly donations. We are now committed to working with Street Child in building a school for the children of Bamoi in Sierra Leone – see our news page to read more about the exciting developments and the progress made so far.

The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) is a volunteer, not-for-profit global organisation, set up to support local communities in times of need. Inspired by the gift of giving, they channel their support into four key areas: youth, emergency services, homelessness and health and disability.

Staff and directors at Nine Group International readily volunteer and give up time so as to help RRT in offering quality catering assistance to charitable and government organisations confronting some of humankind’s greatest challenges, including natural disasters, heart disease, cancer research and the plight of the homeless.

The RNLI save lives at sea by providing a lifeboat service, seasonal lifeguards, flood rescue response and water safety education.

With our head office being based in a coastal town (St. Austell, Cornwall) we have seen for ourselves some of the heroical work they carry out and are committed to helping in a small way through regular donations – especially as they are entirely reliant on gifts from the public to cover their costs

The Royal British Legion is a UK charity providing lifelong support for the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force and Reservists, veterans, and their families. They organise the Poppy Appeal in their campaign to improve their lives and remember the fallen.

We believe their motto – “Service not self” – is one that applies to us all and are committed to supporting their work by purchasing poppies and sending one out with every order during the months of October and November when the appeal is underway.
